Public Use of Library Machines

The Hazard Library makes available a computer/printer, copier and fax machine for public use. Patrons may use the equipment independently or with the assistance of the Librarian or volunteer on duty. The Library reserves the right to refuse any request for use of equipment dependent on circumstances. The following information outlines the nominal fees that are charged:

Computer: The first two pages of computer printouts are free per person/per day. After that copies are $0.10 per page for black and white and $0.20 per page for color.

Copier: The costs are $0.10 per page or $0.15 cents for a double-sided page.

Fax machine: For local and toll free outgoing faxes, the charge is $1.00 for up to 5 pages. Each additional page is $0.10. For long distance outgoing faxes, the charge is $2.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page. The patron is required to pay actual phone charges for all international outgoing faxes. The fee for an incoming fax is $0.25 per page.

Telephone: Use of the telephone by patrons will be for emergencies only.
