The Hazard Library operates with a staff of three permanent employees and a number of volunteers. Our professional staff provides leadership and continuity to keep the library on an even course throughout the year. Volunteers assist the staff in all aspects of running the library. These important people handle the check-out desk, run the book sale, assist with our Summer Reading Programs, and take care of many other jobs. Our volunteers are the heart of the Library with special thanks due to everyone who spends their own time and energy to make Hazard Library so special. Their dedication and hard work is appreciated.
