Trustees and staff should continue to learn and grow during their tenure, developing an awareness of the affairs of their own library and of other libraries and library organizations. As an investment in the library’s future, the Library will make every effort to support continuing educational opportunities for its Trustees and staff to keep them abreast of national, state and local legislation through workshops, seminars and conferences. Other important areas of study include trusteeship, board development and public library operation and management.
