Summer Programs

We will offer all in-person programs this summer for 6 weeks 

July 8th – August 14th.   

Please note our change in days and times for some of your favorite summertime favorites!

Tuesdays in July and August – Family Story Time at 10:00 AM on the library lawn.

Join Miss Lisa for stories, songs, games, and crafts.  All members of the family are welcome!

Tuesdays July 8 – August 12 at 5:30 PM – on the library lawn

                Ukulele Camp Returns!   

Learn how to play the Ukulele from Jim Van Arsdale and friends at Perform4Purpose.  Free and open to all ages.

No previous experience is needed.  Ukuleles will be provided for those who need them.

Final concert on August 12 to benefit King Ferry Food Pantry.     We will be collecting donations throughout the summer.  Monetary donations are always appreciated as well.       

Thursdays in July and August – Science on the Lawn at 10:00 AM with interactive science and art fun!

  • July 10— Spin Art and Centrifugal Force with Miss Lisa
  • July 17—The Physics Bus (at the Poplar Ridge Firehouse from 10AM-12PM)
  • July 24—Patterning with Natural Materials with Miss Kathy
  • July 31 – Chemistry and the Science of Colors with Teresa Schichler
  • Aug 7 – Optical Illusions with Miss Lisa
  • Aug 14 — Exploring Process Art with Miss Lisa
